It has been yet another month. Whew.
Quick memories to remember.
Hadley is learning how to write and sound out words. It has been so fun to try to decode her phonetic spelling and to help her learn that words are all made up of letters that she knows. Making progress :)

She made this totally independently and was SO proud of herself.
We've also had some pretty interesting outfits recently...

 Eli has developed an interesting mischievous side. I have yet to capture a photo of his expression when he thinks he is being incredibly funny and rolls his eyes back into his head and just laughs, but the following pictures do show just how happy and confident he is becoming.

 In other news: we finally got callings, we went on our first overnight getaway without kids since becoming parents, we've had a lot of great game nights with old and new friends & family, we've been eating really well- lots of fun in the kitchen recently, and our dear friends gave us their piano so our home is now constantly full of all types of musical and non-musical sounds. Oh, and Eli hasn't slept in our bed in a week!
Or in other words- I haven't hit the winter doldrums yet, which is incredibly good news.
